Interviewer: Today, we are joined by Alhassan Dantata, the Chairman of the renowned Real Estate development company, Dantata Town Developers Limited, to gain insight into the company and the newly launched estate. Sir, thank you for joining us, and Congratulations on the launch of Dantata City. I know the audience is eagerly waiting to hear from the horse’s mouth about this new estate and what it offers, but before we delve into that, please tell us about your company.

Alhaji Dantata: Thank you for having me. Dantata Town Developers Limited is a leading real estate development company in Nigeria that specializes in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Interviewer: Tell us about Dantata City (F01) Kubwa

Alhaji Dantata: Dantata City, located at F01, Kubwa, is officially launched. Application forms are already out for those interested in becoming homeowners at this modern state-of-the-art estate. We are very excited because the team, including the designers, architects, engineers, and construction workforce, has put in all their effort to ensure this estatestandsout.

It is the definition of urban and modern living, and we are truly changing the dynamic of the real estate industry and our customers both old and new have responded well. This shows the level of trust they have in our brand. Some of them deposited money with us for long before we released the project, and we ensured that we rewarded them for this level of loyalty.

Interviewer: Talking about Dantata City, what are the latest project’s unique features?

Alhaji Dantata: Dantata City is designed to provide residents with everything they need, hence the location. We are not just building houses but creating an environment where you feel comfortable, satisfied, and happy. The facilities in this estate include a shopping complex, a religious centre, a sports facility and clinic, a recreation centre for the family, 24-hour security, electricity, and a primary and secondary school.

The house types available are two different designs of 3-, 4- and 5-Bedroom duplexes and we have 1-, 2-, & 3-Bedroom Apartments. In addition, we offer construction options, like the carcass house, for those who want to complete their homes themselves. There is the Shell house, which has the features of a carcass house plus external finishing. Lastly, there is the fully completed house. These options give our clients a variety of options that suit them.

Interviewer: Sir, how much does a house cost at Dantata City?

Alhaji Dantata: Our prices are affordable, and we offer flexible payment plans to make house ownership easy.

We need just a 20% initial deposit to book a house in your name while payment within 30 days attracts a 15% discount.

Interviewer: What inspired you to start this company, and how far have you come?

Alhaji Dantata:  My father founded Dantata and Sawoe Construction company which was involved in many projects around Nigeria. I was exposed to this environment since I was a child. I had to stay with our supervisor or procurement officer when growing up. This fueled my passion for the real estate and construction sector.

Interviewer: Sir, in addition to the Dantata City we already discussed, can you tell us about other key projects your company has completed?

Alhaji Dantata: Certainly, some of our key projects include:

• Dantata Housing Estates in Kubwa having 1200 units. These were among the first residential projects we successfully completed.
• The District byDantata located at Gwarimpa consists of 807 Units,
• There is the Residence with 342 Units, which is located on Airport Road, Abuja.
• Then there is Dantata Garden, located in Karsana South, FCT which consists of 606 Units.
• The ongoing project we are developingatF01,Kubwa,Abuja consists of 3000 Units

Most of our projects are in the Federal Capital Territory, but recently, we embarked on a new project in Kano state called Dantata Square. Dantata Square is located at Fagge, close to the Mallam Aminu Kano InternationalAirport,Kanostate which consists of 164 Units.

This multipurpose project includes commercial spaces for shops, offices, and residential plots. These plots are categorized into regular and irregular plots that allow the owner to build to their taste and desires.

These projects are meticulously developed to fit each client’s unique needs. We ensure that the amenities and facilities that will make you comfortable as a homeowner are installed in each project because it is your home.

Interviewer: Aside from residentials, what other projects have you worked on?

Alhaji Dantata: We built a shopping complex, which was among the first projects we completed in FCT. We are also completing some infrastructure work for the Nigerian Navy in Abuja.

Interviewer: How do you see the real estate industry evolving in the next 5-10 years, and what role do you see Dantata Town Developers playing in this evolution?

Alhaji Dantata: The real estate industry will become more sustainable and technology-driven in 5-10 years. At Dantata Town Developers, we have already invested in sustainable building practices and technologies, such as green buildings and smart homes. We’re also exploring new ways to use technology to improve the customer experience and streamline our operations.
